Version 1
30th June 2024
These legal terms are between you and Emble (Emble/we/us), and by using the Emble platform, you agree to them.
There's a few ways we'll look to contact you. These include, but are not limited to:
You can opt out of receiving notifications and marketing updates, but we'll need to send you crucial business updates, such as major changes to these terms and conditions, for example.
For all of the below points and any other actions we perceive to threaten the Emble platform or business, we reserve the right to suspend your account at any time, without prior warning or notice. Upon suspension, we cannot provide you with your Emble account data, such as video responses.
When using Emble, you must use it fairly and reasonably. In plain language, this means that you can use the features provided by Emble and you will be fine.
However, you must not attempt any of the following:
We want Emble to be as useful a platform as possible. However, you must not ask your participants questions that may violate their private data. This could include, but isn't limited to:
On top of this, you must not repeatedly send invitations to participants. You must respect participants privacy and safety at all times when using Emble, and therefore you can send no more than 1 invite to a given participant sourced through the Emble platform in any given 24 hour period.
Our AI features on Emble are restricted as follows:
Our AI features are not perfect. Large Language Models (LLMs) have a tendency to hallucinate at times, which essentially means they may say stuff happens when it actually doesn't. From our testing, our AI analysis works extremely well and is very accurate most of the time. However, we can't guarantee that all generated insights are perfect, so when making business decisions based upon feedback, we don't take any responsibility for the performance of LLMs integrated into the Emble platform. Please always double check insights yourself.
We use Stripe to process our payments.
When upgrading your Emble account, you'll be redirected to a website hosted by Stripe to complete the payment.
We do not store any of your payment details on Emble's servers.
After upgrading your account, you can cancel your premium plan at any time. Once this happens, any premium features you may have used, such as AI powered task insights, will stay saved on your account, but won't be generated for any new research.
This may mean that some insights generated while you had a premium account are no longer accurate, or are referring to old data. As mentioned above with our AI features, we do not take any responsibility for this.
Upon cancelling your premium subscription, we will refund you the difference from your remaining days on a pro-rata basis, and immediately downgrade your account. We may change this approach in the future, based upon feedback.
You must not share your Emble account sign in credentials. This includes with other team members. It's completely free for other team members to sign up and work with you.
As above, if we discover that you are sharing your account details, we reserve the right to suspend your account at any time.
If you want to delete your Emble account and it's data, send us a message and we'd be happy to help.
As stated in our privacy policy, we use numerous third party providers for different business requirements. For example, authentication, payment processing, and artificial intelligence features.
When we use these third party providers, your data may be stored on their servers. We do not take any responsibility for problems such as loss of data, or compromised data, as a result of problems that happen via their platform. However, we always strive to only use reputable third party services and care deeply about the privacy and security of your data.
We won't ever share your data with a third party without your explicit permission, unless it's for these aforementioned business requirements.
You'll be able to view these terms at any time via the Emble website, on this page.
For significant changes, we'll email you ahead of applying any changes.
If you ever need to see a previous version of these terms, send us a message and we'll be able to send you them.
